Happy New Year from Sunriver!

Went cross country skiing today on not-so-great snow, but had a fun adventure. A nice dinner at Marcello's in SR and now movie night to ring in the new year!












Added a bunch of movies to our collection. Some from home and some from a local movie store going out of business. Will go back tomorrow and get a few more.

Yesterday was bright and sunny



and today SNOW all day! In late May!


Decided to postpone our hike and Kayla set up an office on our bed for a homework marathon. Done!

Teddy the Big Game Hunter!

Ted found a covey of quail under a snow covered shrub! He somehow made his way under to chase out the quail and got stuck! We had to dig down 2 ft to get him out! Ted's just fine, but I'm worried about where the quail will live now!

10 of us packed in for New Year's Eve! The cousins all had a great time and Jessie and Nicole made a fort in the closet!

Then, just a few miles away, Lava River Cave. Brrrr....

Happy Birthday, Vicki!!!

Vicki got to celebrate her birthday in Sunriver! We planted 3 Quaking Aspen trees for her, but since Aspen leaves are a large part of the deer's diet, they are now Quaking Aspen twigs! We're working on protecting them from the evil deer!
